Privacy policy

How we handle your information.

We collect what we need to help you with finance, we're upfront about who sees it, and you can ask to see it or correct it at any time. Last updated 28 October 2026.

The detail

Who we are

This policy applies to A&A Advisors Pty Ltd t/as Aarya Wealth (ABN 32 673 858 841), Credit Representative 554847 of Connective Credit Services Pty Ltd (Australian Credit Licence 389328). In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean A&A Advisors Pty Ltd t/as Aarya Wealth.

We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Because we arrange loans under Connective's licence, Connective also handles some information about you. See "Who we share it with" below.

What we collect

Depending on how we're helping you, we may collect:

  • your contact details, such as your name, mobile number and email address;
  • the information in any message you send us, including through the enquiry form on this website;
  • information about your finances that we need to assess your needs and arrange a loan: income, employment, assets, debts, expenses, credit limits and property details;
  • identity documents, which we're required by law to verify;
  • credit-related information, such as a credit report, where you've agreed we can obtain one;
  • records of our conversations and of the service we provide; and
  • basic technical information when you visit this website (see "This website").

We don't usually need sensitive information, such as health information. If it becomes relevant, for example in a hardship situation, we'll ask for your consent first.

We collect most information directly from you: through the website, by phone or email, when you book a time with us, and in the documents you send. With your consent we may also collect it from lenders, your accountant, conveyancer or other advisers, and from credit reporting bodies.

How we use it

We use your information to:

  • respond to your enquiry and book a time to talk;
  • understand your needs and provide credit assistance, including finding and applying for a suitable loan;
  • verify your identity and meet our legal obligations, including under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009;
  • keep in touch about your loans, such as reviews and reminders when a fixed rate is ending; and
  • meet the compliance and audit requirements of our licensee.

We only use your information for those purposes, for related purposes you'd reasonably expect, or as you've agreed or the law requires. If we contact you about other services we offer, you can tell us to stop at any time.

Who we share it with

  • Lenders and other parties involved in your application, such as mortgage insurers and valuers, as needed to assess and process it. Where we do tasks for a lender that are reasonably necessary to manage your application, we act as the lender's agent, and the same privacy laws apply to both of us.
  • Connective. Our licensee, Connective Credit Services Pty Ltd, and our aggregator, Connective Broker Services Pty Ltd, and its related companies. They must be able to monitor and audit our credit activities, so they may hold records about you. Connective has its own privacy policy, and its Privacy Officer can be reached at privacy@connective.com.au or on 1300 65 66 37.
  • Credit reporting bodies, where you've agreed we can check or report credit information (see "Credit reporting" below).
  • Insurers, where you ask us to source insurance.
  • A guarantor or prospective guarantor, where one is involved in your application.
  • Your other advisers, such as your accountant, solicitor or conveyancer, where you ask us to deal with them.
  • Service providers who help us run the business, such as contractors, agents, printers, mail houses, lawyers, document custodians, securitisers, and the providers of our computer systems, website hosting, enquiry form, email and calendar.
  • A buyer or prospective buyer of our business, or of rights under your contract with us.
  • Regulators, dispute resolution schemes and courts, such as ASIC and the Australian Financial Complaints Authority, where the law allows or requires it.

We don't share your information with anyone else without your consent unless the law allows it.

Overseas providers

Some of the people we disclose your personal information to may be based overseas. It isn't practicable to list every country, but it's likely to include the Philippines, India and Nepal.

We also use providers that store information in the United States and elsewhere, including:

  • Formspree, which processes the enquiry form on this website;
  • Google, which provides our booking calendar and the fonts this website uses; and
  • our website hosting provider.

Overseas recipients may not be subject to Australian privacy law. We only send information overseas to provide the services described in this policy.

AI and automated tools

We may use artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning tools and automated systems to help us provide our services, for example to pull data out of bank statements, summarise documents, and match your information against lender policies. We use them with human oversight.

Your personal and credit information may be processed by AI systems that we operate, or that trusted third-party providers (including cloud-based services) operate for us. Where a third party provides the tool, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled securely and in line with Australian privacy law.

Credit reporting

With your consent we can act as your agent to get a report about your consumer or commercial credit worthiness from a credit reporting body. To do that we may give the body personal information such as your name, date of birth and address, so it can check whether that information matches what it holds. We may then use what the report says to assess your application. The credit reporting bodies we use are:

A lender you apply to may also collect information about you from, and disclose information about you to, credit reporting bodies. Each lender's website explains which bodies it deals with and your key rights, usually under a heading like "privacy policy" or "credit reporting policy". Among those rights, you can ask a credit reporting body not to use your information for pre-screening for direct marketing, and ask it not to release your information if you believe you've been a victim of fraud.

This website

At the time of writing, this website doesn't set advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. The website loads fonts from Google, which means your IP address is sent to Google when you view a page.

This website also links to other services, including our booking calendar and our LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook pages. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we're not responsible for how they handle information.

Keeping it safe, and for how long

We store information in secure systems and limit who can access it. We keep it for as long as we need it for the purposes above and as the law requires. Records of credit assistance, for example, generally need to be kept for several years. When we no longer need information, we destroy or de-identify it.

Access and correction

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it's wrong, out of date or incomplete. Email team@aaryawealth.com.au or call 0401 365 560. We may need to verify your identity first, and we'll respond within a reasonable time. In some cases an administration fee may be charged to cover the cost of providing the information. In limited circumstances the law allows us to refuse a request, and if we do we'll tell you why.

Privacy complaints

If you think we've mishandled your information, tell us first at team@aaryawealth.com.au or on 0401 365 560, and we'll look into it. Our complaints page explains the process.

If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992. For complaints about credit-related matters you can also contact the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (see our complaints page).

In your corner, from first call to fourth property

Whatever you have been told is impossible, start by telling us about it.

A new ABN, a decline from your bank, an SMSF loan that needs refinancing, or a portfolio that has stalled. Book a time, and we'll tell you what's actually possible.
